Sun - UV
195 Å Sun

We take the stability of the sun for granted. As this UV image shows, the sun is indeed variable. The AAVSO collects data on sunspots and Sudden Ionospheric Disturbances (SIDs) caused by solar flares. This data is reported monthly to NOAA.
